When we ask Uaua, he keep mentioning little Momoi push a little eraser into his ears. Perhaps he's afraid that we might scold him (guilty kan....). When he caught fever sometime last month, I brought him to see the paed and ask her to check on the ear. But she only mentioned probably it was dried pus and prescribed ear drops.
I don't know what came to me yesterday, I decided to check on the ear again and found that the foreign object still stuck in Uaua's ear. I made an attempt to extract but Uaua start moving and crying. That made me and hubby decide to go to ENT to examine and extract the white object.
So this is the result....
Top: Left Ear - Irregular shape rubber stuck in the ear way
Bottom: Right Ear - Full of ear wax. OK
Doctor's solution :- Have to put Uaua under GA and then gently extract the white rubber. We are lucky it's not something organic like beans or seeds otherwise it may become rotten and cause infection. The GA and extraction is scheduled this Friday and Uaua need to fast 4 hours before.
So that's what happen to our adventurous Uaua. I wonder what was he thinking when he or Momoi persistently (he claims) push the white rubber thing into his ear.
For Uaua, this is the second medical hurdle we have to go through with him after the tooth-ache and almost Root Canal Treatment (fortunately not) we had last week. It seems our son enjoys going to the dentist and doctors nowadays. (Maybe because the doctors are spoiling him - they give him something every visit)
I wonder what he is up to next...

What happened to Joshua's teeth? Root-canal? Curious as my lil C undergoed a minor surgery to extract his pre-molars. I wished they did a root-canal instead.. but he is eating fine.
The previous filling fallen off and he feel the pain before we even got the chance to bring him back to the dentist(must be something rotten inside). Fortunately, the tooth can still be saved as it has not infected the root yet. So it was only normal filling again... but the hole was really big. I shud have taken the picture of the tooth.

We went to Dr Vivien Lo - I like her. She's very good with kids. Unlike the previous dentist we went that's why it took sometime to go back to do the filling again because the previous dentist scolded Joshua not being co-operative- he got a litle dentist-phobia but he's ok now. And he likes Dr Vivien too. Which dentist u went?
Thanks - gonna have a very chaotic life with 3 kids soon. But nevertheless, still happy about it- the kids are really nice and cute. Made me want to be SAHM - it's good to be able to raise your own kids your way.
