New Twins in Town

I'm dedicating this post to
the new twins in town
Lauryssa Leona and Ellyssa Devona
born 10th April 2008 at 2.23pm

There's two to wash
Two to dry.
Two who argue
And two who cry.
There's two to kiss
Two to hug
And best of all
Two to Love!

and to the new
Mommy and Daddy
Edna & Laurence

Babies will make love stronger
Days shorter, Nights longer
Bankroll smaller, Clothes shabbier,

The past forgotten,
And the future worth living for

CONGRATULATIONS

Friday Lunch Date

Finally, I manage to do this post in between Moira's nap time... whew..

I had a lunch date at KGCC with my bestfriends from Secondary school on 28 March 2008. The meal was not fancy as apparently the seafood restaurant has relocated... So it was just soto for me and Mag and fried noodles for Ed.

Anyway, just for ol' time memory-sake here's our photo in 1993...

The schoolgirls...

and here we are now...

The Mommies...

Hehe... come to think of it... we still look the same as we were in 1993. The only difference is we have bigger responsibilities to shoulder... as employee, mommy and Wife now, than we are 14 years ago - just a happy easy-going schoolgirl.

I'm a bird...

I was in Penang last week from 21-24 Jan attending a workshop held at the Paradise Sandy Beach Resort. I didn't manage to go out as the time was quite packed with activities & discussions until late at night.

The beautiful sandy beach at Tg. Bungah Penang

However, while taking a break on the sandy beach I did manage to do something daring the 2nd day with my boss...

Guess what... we went para-sailing!

The instructor telling us how to operate the chute...
see the excitement on our faces... fun eh

And here's the clip...

It was a fun, thrilling and exiciting 6 minutes flying experience. Now I know how the birds feel on the sky. If there is such thing as reincarnation - I want to be reincarnated as a bird...

Rendezvous at The Gardens

I know this is a late posting but better late than never...

Date: 30th October 2007
Time: After Work (7.30 ish)
Meeting Place: Somewhere around Midvalley

I met 2 friends - one I've known since form 1 in Stella Maris Secondary School and the other one from University and now both are married to each other (It's a long story... anyone would like to know how they meet each other will have to personally ask Prisie & Rob... hehe).

The happy couple Rob & Prisie... In "Lomantic" Pose

With hungry tummy, we head to The Gardens (newly opened shopping complex adjacent to Midvalley) in search for a place to dine. The whole building still smelling of fresh paint and some renovation works still going on. In doubt there will be any place to eat we approach information counter where a very pleasant lady briefed us on location & name of all the dining place by heart. I was so impressed with how she explain soo fluently that I only managed to catch a few words. So finally we chose to have Thai dinner at the Flying Chillies. Rob was very positive that they will have special opening discount and true enough I can even see 15% off sign in the horizon as we approach the restaurant.

We decided to try few dishes which we share among 3 of us, but end up Rob have to finish most of the spicy stuff... (Prisie and Me taste buds are limited to tomato sauce that even a bit of chilli seems verrry hot to us...)

The Menu - Notice the Chilli rating. We try to avoid the Chilli rating but it was pretty useless. Most of the dishes we tried are spicy anyway except for the catfish mango salad (my all time fav) & vege..

Notice the rice in pineapple - that's Prisie choice
but end up I finish most of it... feeding the mama cow hehe...

And oh.. while waiting for our food here are some shots with Prisie...

Finally... a BIG ThankYou to Rob for the dinner. Sorry you have to finish all the spicy stuff... Hope you didn't get sick the next day...
