Breast Cancer Awareness

Hehe... this is a tag by Miss Mathew. It's been a long time since I've done a tag (not that I'm looking forward to being tagged - more of a relieve actually... whew). Anyway, talking about breast cancer awareness, I wanted to do breast cancer screening many times but haven't decided how to go about it. I'm looking for a package deal - woman health screening (something like that). Perhaps will do it next year after I'm done with breastfeeding. Huhu... looking forward to the birth of our baby in Dec or Jan and breasfeeding thingy. Motherhood is such a joy.

The age that I wish my child will stay to be

This is the 2nd tag from Aunty J and I'm doing this now as hubby and the little people are still fast asleep.

Uaua on his 3rd Birthday celebration

Let me start with my son, Joshua. For him I like him to stay at his age the day when Moira was born. Reason being, soon after he got a little sister Mama have very little time with him. I remember after I got home from the hospital, I really hug him and touch his head and was amazed by how big and tall he has grown, and at that time I realise that I've missed him growing up. Sometimes I feel really bad when he say "Mama come sit next to me, I have something to say to you". Then I realise, it's been such a long time since I listen to him. Pretty tough uhh... I like the way he has grown now but I wish he could stay at 3yrs old as I don't want to miss all the time spend with him. Joshua is funny, intelligent and kind-hearted boy that any mom would want to have as a son and I feel I'm very lucky to have a son like him.

Momoi - the sleepy 4 days old baby

For my daughter- Moira, I would like her to stay at 2 month and below. Reason being is that was the time when she was the easiest to take care of and I love the sight of a little wiggly baby stretching herself. It was also the easiest since I was able to fully breastfeed her during the 2 months confinement period (in fact I managed to fully breastfeed her till she was 6 months). I wish I have an option to take longer maternity leave like what the government is implementing now so that I would be able to nurture and care for my growing baby until she is about 1-2 years old. Nevertheless, Moira is a fast learner i.e. by 4 months - turn over on her own, by 5 months - learn to sit by her self, by 6 months - can sit up straight by herself, by 7 months - can pull her own self to stand in the baby cot, by 8 months - can wave bye-bye, clap hands, say mama, baba, nen-nen (which is also means mama, the big walking milk bottle... haha). With her being the fast learner, I would certainly even miss her growing-up more and wish she would be her baby-self forever.

Momoi - the prisoner, Uaua - the visitor

In fact if anyone would ask me, I would not want my kids to grow bigger faster. All the effort and time spend on them while they were small babies are no doubt the most tiring part of motherhood but it is also the most satisfying, enjoyable and worthy experience especially when they are happy and healthy.

Uaua & Momoi - the happy times

8 random facts about Mama UaUa&MoMoi

I have 2 overdue homework courtesy of Aunty J who tagged me twice. Here goes the first assignment- 8 random facts about myself

The Rules:
  1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
  2. Tag eight people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them).
  3. Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving them a comment on their blogs
Here's the list:-

1. My hubby & I used to take the same school bus when we were in primary/secondary school. Never met again after school and by coincidence we meet again at my sister's wedding day when he came with FIL after all the guest have gone home.

2. I love Khong Guan "Sultana Biscuits" and now am taking them while doing this post. Hungry tummy at 4 am... which goes the next fact.

3. I eat at any time & anything my tummy likes e.g. while I was pregnant with Moira, I woke up at 3 a.m. and helped myself with my mom's yummy chilled "Harum Manis" mango. (Actually I was a bit "kiasu" and don't want to share the mango with hubby...haha)

4. I have 2 kids whom I love and adore very much- Joshua (coming 4 yrs tomorrow) and Moira (8months).

5. I've hit the big 30 (age) this year and I plan to stop getting pregnant by 35 or when I have 4 kids (whichever comes first). So, 5 more years to go and 2 more pregnancies for me...

6. I'm born in the year of Snake and my zodiac is Libra - which spells I appreciate fine things in life & I'm perfectionist (but life is pretty up-side-down now for me to be perfectionist... hmmm I need a maid from heaven).

7. I'm still serving my 10year bond with the company I work with for 8years & 1month. Can't wait till the bond period is over... it's like being tied on the tail.

8. I need time for myself to do my favorite things - laze around, organize stuff, clean the house, read my growing collection of books, window shopping, read the papers, practice/learn piano, go out with friends, kids & hubby without the need to rush to do this and do that... The list seems endless and the fact that I'm no longer entitled all the freedom of a bachelor is pretty sad sometimes.

Breakfast

Well, this is the first time I've been tagged by Aunty J and I normally don't take pictures of what I eat so I don't have any pictures of what I had this morning (however I'll try my best to illustrate what I had in the pictures below).

For a start, today I had my breakfast at TM Kota Kinabalu (exchange office) just opposite Petronas KK HQ instead of at my usual office, Wisma San Hin.

Curry puff

Kuih Seri Muka

I had curry puff & Kuih Seri Muka (...now I know the name of this kuih. While doing this post I searched for the name in the internet and found the name & the above picture haha...) and Milo "Kosong" (Milo + hot water only). I like the curry puff the most as it was very crispy and the filling is just nice.

So that's about my breakfast. Anyway, I had an unusual/surprisingly interesting (hmmm...not sure what to call it) day today as I normally have something heavy like fried rice or fried noodle for my breakfast, I got tagged for the first time and I wrote about something I didn't even know the name .
